Bhagavad Gita study

1:30-4p - Gita study and potluck lunch!

After a vigorous yoga practice we plan to lift up our minds and hearts together listening to the Bhagavad Gita, and following along with the "cliffs notes" accompaniment written by our highly esteemed teacher & known scholar of scripture, Indubala Bhardwaj. Please bring a nutritious dish to share(vegetarian if you please).

Study Hall- Topics:

• Anatomy and Medical termonology
• Physiology of the shoulder
• Study of the nervous system

Study Hall is an open study session, as well as a skill share opportunity for local area instructors. Students are welcome to enter the classroom space for self-exploration in any therapeutic practice, ask questions of the instructor, and receive hands-on adjustments. In addition, local yoga instructors are granted a tool for the exchange of adjustments practice and teaching tips.

Rocket Weekend WITH Amber Gean

 The Yoga School welcomes Amber Gean, practitioner and teacher of the Rocket Vinyasa System, to a ROCKIN' weekend! 

We will have a Rocket practice on each day, and a Rocket teacher training on Saturday. Those who complete the full weekend will be presented with a continuing education certificate.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

CPR and First Aid TRAINING

ROCKET YOGA TEACHER TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

"The Rocket" is a style of yoga developed by Larry Schultz in San Francisco during his travels as yoga teacher for the Grateful Dead. Rocket Yoga is rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice. It is combined with and restructured from the Primary and Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Appropriately dubbed the "feel-good" routine, the sequence and philosophy are well thought out and proven to be effective over years of experience practicing in this system.
